Job summary

Museum of Discovery and Science is seeking a Guest Experience Associate to help visitors with purchases, reservations, and event participation. You will handle school/group check-ins and assist educators and members at the museum.

The role requires strong communication, customer service, and multitasking abilities, with willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays. Training on the ALTRU Ticketing System will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in phone sales.
• Heightened customer service and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multi-task.
• Computer literate in word processing, Excel, Word, etc.
• Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Agent must be able to learn the ALTRU Ticketing System quickly.

Responsibilities

• Sell the Museum’s various products and programs.
• Facilitate school/group/camp check-in.
• Participate in special events for educators and/or members.
• Phone and speak to customers about reservations, payment deadlines, procedures while at the museum, and other policies.
