Miami Children's Museum is seeking a friendly Museum Ticket Sales Associate to greet guests, assist with admissions, promote memberships, and ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for every family in a busy, fast-paced environment.

You will operate the point-of-sale system, process purchases, reconcile cash drawers, and enter membership information into the Altru database, delivering outstanding customer service throughout every interaction.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service or sales experience.
• Experience with modern sales techniques and POS equipment.
• Positive, enthusiastic, professional approach to working with the public.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors with a friendly smile and positive attitude.
• Assist guests with purchasing Museum admission tickets.
• Open, operate, and close the point-of-sale system.
• Reconcile cash drawers accurately at the end of the day.
• Share the benefits of Museum membership and encourage purchases.
• Enter membership information into the Altru database.
• Answer phone calls and provide helpful information to visitors.
• Deliver excellent customer service throughout interactions.
• Assist with additional duties as needed.
