Job summary

The Fresh Market in Newport News is seeking a Guest Service Manager to lead frontline teams, shape the guest experience, onboard new hires, and optimize daily operations with precision.

This fast-paced role requires hospitality passion, reliability, and the ability to drive results; you will ensure accurate inventories, conduct audits, and champion exceptional service at every touchpoint, including weekends.

Qualifications

• 3 years of management experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality or 5 years in related management.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and proactively assist them with accurate and timely service.
• Lead the team and educate members on products and services to provide convenient meal solutions.
• Support inventories and sales reporting, and manage front-end performance via audits.
• Coordinate onboarding and training of new team members and drive guest flow for a great shopping experience.
• Occasionally oversee total store operations or Manager on Duty (MOD).
