Job summary

Shamin Hotels in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Guest Service Agent to check guests in/out, answer questions, and recommend local activities. You’ll engage with guests both in-person and online to ensure a seamless stay and outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Front desk experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time.
• Attention to detail and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests.
• Issues room key and escort instructions to Bell person or guest.
• Date-stamps, sorts and racks incoming mail and messages.
• Transmits and receives messages using telephone, fax and switchboard.
• Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests and directions.
• Records room availability and guests’ accounts.
• Computes bill, collects payment and makes change for guests.
• May make, confirm and cancel reservations for guests.
• Posts charges such as room, food, liquor or telephone.
