Job summary

UDF-MyScoop Branding in Union, KY seeks an Assistant Manager to lead daily operations, deliver The Hi Five Guest Experience, and supervise associates during a 37–40 hour work week across 1st–3rd shifts.

The role emphasizes managing store activities, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining safe, clean store conditions while handling POS and cash operations. Compliance with alcohol/tobacco laws is required.

Qualifications

• Must be legally qualified under applicable state laws to conduct alcohol and tobacco sales.
• Experience in guest service and store operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Managing other associates, coaching the Hi Five Guest Experience, and training Shift Leaders and Guest Services Associates; conducting interviews with applicants.
• Store administration: ordering, review of weekly delivery reports, transfer of products, and completing paperwork as directed by Store Manager or District Supervisor.
• Provide the signature Hi Five Guest Experience; greet Guests with a warm, authentic hello, ensure the store is prepared and ready for Guests at all times.
• DipSide Guest Services: preparation of shakes, malts, cups/cones, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed containers.
• Efficient operation of POS system and gas console: authorize and record all transactions, manage cash and cards, and process coupons and stamps.
• Stocking merchandise: keep shelves, displays, milk box and freezers filled and faced, rotate stock, and check dates.
• Security: monitor guests to minimize theft and manage cash drops and compliance with tobacco/alcohol policies.
• Maintenance: keep the store and parking lot clean and equipment temperatures within required ranges.
• Reporting: accurate completion of time records and Customer First Document.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
