Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Hampton, VA is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, high-quality food is prepared and served, while keeping the restaurant crew well trained and performing at a high level.

You will supervise front-of-house operations, monitor line efficiency, and help develop and train crew members, ensuring adherence to food safety policies and cash handling procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety including hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature monitoring.
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks and shift changes.
• Develop and cross-train all front of house crew.
• Assist with crew performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders.
• Assist with office administration duties such as banking and cash handling policies.
• Ensure office equipment and supplies are kept in working order.
• Ensure adequate quantity of supplies.
