Job summary

Build-A-Bear Workshop is seeking an Assistant Workshop Manager to support the store manager in daily operations, guest service, and team leadership. You will help with staff scheduling, training, and executing sales and marketing strategies to boost store performance.

In this role, you will lead shifts, ensure adherence to brand standards, manage inventory, and supervise a high-producing team focused on an exceptional Guest experience and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 2 years of store management experience in a customer‑centric setting.
• High school diploma required.
• Familiarity with POS, scheduling, HRIS and time/attendance systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Workshop Manager with daily assignments and directing staff.
• Lead shifts, coach Bear Builders, and uphold Experience First culture.
• Oversee merchandising displays and maintain brand standards.
• Manage inventory, receiving, stocking, and counts.
• Support hiring, promotions, and staff development.
