Job summary

Build-A-Bear Workshop is seeking an Assistant Workshop Manager to support the store manager in operations, guest service, and staff management. You will assist in sales execution, merchandising, and adherence to brand standards, while guiding a team to deliver an outstanding Guest experience.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and disciplined execution of store procedures to meet objectives and ensure a positive workplace environment for guests and associates.

Qualifications

• 2 years of store management in a customer-centric business.
• High school diploma required.
• Basic understanding of POS, scheduling, HRIS, time and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Workshop Manager with daily assignments and staff priorities.
• Assist in hiring decisions and promotions, providing feedback on candidate selection.
• Lead and inspire the team during shifts; enforce policies and brand standards.
• Drive sales as Floor Leader and enhance Guest experience through team coaching.
• Ensure merchandising displays adhere to brand standards and create an inviting store environment.
• Oversee inventory processes including receiving, stocking, and counts.
• Help build a high-performing team delivering exceptional Guest experiences.
