Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Guest Service Specialist to serve as the front-end hospitality anchor, ensuring smooth guest flow, accurate cash handling, and exceptional service. You will lead by example, maintain front-end displays, and uphold cash office controls with integrity.

Responsibilities include educating guests on products, directing cashiers, managing digital fulfillment orders, and keeping stores clean and stocked.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be a visible example of hospitality, educating guests and team members on products, services, and meal solutions.
• Manage frontend guest flow and efficiency by directing cashiers and supporting backups.
• Execute and uphold cash office procedures and controls including cash, keys, and the safe.
• Direct the guest service team to maintain sanitation and cleanliness at front end and restrooms.
• Support digital fulfillment orders with speed, accuracy, and brand adherence.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach and assist in department management to minimize losses.
