Job summary

Black Oak Casino Hotel is seeking a front desk associate to warmly welcome guests and manage check-ins and check-outs. You will assign rooms, handle reservations, and answer questions about services and local attractions.

The role requires strong communication in English, basic cash handling, and excellent organizational skills to maintain privacy and efficiency in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in guest service and basic accounting is preferred.
• Must complete Responsible Alcohol Service certification or have proof of current certification.
• Must complete counterfeit training.
• Must be able to understand and provide friendly Guest Service.
• Must be able to communicate proficiently in English.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
• Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds and occasionally more with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Process guest check-ins/check-outs and room assignments.
• Handle pre-registrations, same-day, future and group bookings.
• Collect payments in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Answer inquiries about resort services, events, directions, and attractions.
• Assist guests with safety deposit boxes, keys, transportation, and other requests.
• Answer phones and route calls; maintain privacy of guest information.
• Write shift and incident reports as assigned.
• Perform other duties and special projects as needed.
