Job summary

Black Oak Casino Resort is seeking an energetic host/hostess to greet and seat guests, ensuring a courteous experience. You will coordinate with serving staff and management to handle seating flow and wait lists, while maintaining dining room cleanliness and adherence to standards.

Responsibilities include handling cash transactions accurately, working with team members, and delivering courteous guest service in a busy casino restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Six; high school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
• Experience with cash handling and guest service preferred.
• Must complete Food Handler or ServSafe and Responsible Alcohol Service certification or have proof of current certification.
• Must communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat Guests and ensure cordial, courteous treatment.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining room and bus stations per standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain effective communication with guests, serving staff, kitchen staff and management.
• Maintain wait lists when necessary and manage seating flow.
• Perform duties while multitasking during high volume periods.
• Adhere to appearance standards and provide courteous guest service.
