Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in food service, including supervisory experience.
• Experience in inventory control.
• Must obtain valid food handler’s and alcohol awareness cards within 90 days of employment.
• Proof of sanitation training required.
• Proficiency with Agilysys POS and other POS systems.
• Ability to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and events.
• Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must obtain and retain a valid gaming license/background check.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and schedules the front of house staff.
• Recommends menu items and controls costs, managing the budget.
• Works with kitchen staff to expedite guest orders promptly.
• Completes shift communication notebook and documents shift notes.
• Manages clock in/out in the POS system and adjusts transactions as needed.
• Ensures purveyor invoices are sent to Accounts Payable for payment.
• Posts and distributes memos from other departments to staff.
• Maintains the department filing system with memos and documents.
• Controls the restaurant ambiance to ensure a pleasant dining experience.
• Performs inventory and reconciliation procedures for Food & Beverage merchandise.
