Job summary

Newport Restaurant Group, operating Avvio in Cranston, RI, is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to support the management team and lead daily restaurant operations. You will contribute to service quality and guest experience through hands-on oversight and technical support for the team.

The role requires a hospitality mindset, a willingness to grow, and the ability to manage front-of-house activities while maintaining a positive team dynamic.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role in an upscale, high-volume establishment.
• Must have a flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed.
• Nights and weekends are required.
• Prior supervisory experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring a quality guest experience by managing all aspects of the daily operations.
• Opening and closing of the restaurant; monitor daily setup/breakdown and side work for FOH staff.
• Front door management and guest services support.
• Table section maintenance and support.
• Guest intervention, table touches, food allergy awareness and support.
• Maintain a professional relationship with other managers and subordinates.
