Job summary

Newport Restaurant Group is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor in Cranston, RI to support daily operations and elevate guest experiences. You will lead front-of-house activities, mentor staff, and ensure smooth service.

The role requires a strong hospitality background, with a willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and some holidays, and to handle high-volume service with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role in an upscale, high-volume establishment.
• Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends and some holidays.
• Nights and weekends are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead daily restaurant operations to ensure quality service.
• Open and close the restaurant and manage setup/breakdown for FOH staff.
• Assist with front door management and guest flow.
• Maintain table sections and provide support as needed.
• Intervene with guests, address allergies, and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain professional relationships with managers and staff.
