Job summary

Residence Inn Wilmette, IL is seeking a friendly Front Desk Associate to greet guests, check them in/out, and assist with daily hotel operations. Fast, 8-hour shifts from 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am, with a focus on delivering outstanding guest service.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with strong guest service focus.
• Requires good verbal and written communication.
• Experience working in a team environment; ability to lead when needed.
• Able to perform basic computations and use a computer.
• Flexible to work 8-hour shifts including off-hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all guests are being treated in an efficient and courteous manner and that all standards are being applied by all staff members.
• Address all guest concerns and ensure follow up is complete
• Assist in the daily maintenance of room inventory status to achieve optimal levels of revenue while maintaining high levels of guest expectations.
• Supervise the activities and the service levels of the bell staff to ensure that the arrival, departures and all other guest contact are conducted in an efficient and friendly manner.
