Onvo is hiring a Front Desk Agent for the Residence Inn Wilkes-Barre. You will be the first point of contact, greeting guests and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience.

You will handle reservations, answer calls, resolve issues, process payments, and collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to keep the lobby welcoming.

This part-time role runs 3 PM–11 PM; candidates should have customer service experience, strong communication, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency with property management systems (PMS) and standard office software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and during their stay.
• Handle check-ins and check-outs promptly and accurately.
• Process reservations, cancellations and modifications in the PMS.
• Answer phones and provide information about services and local attractions.
• Address guest concerns and escalate complex issues to management.
• Process payments and reconcile daily transactions.
• Maintain a clean front desk and lobby area.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including sorting mail and preparing reports.
• Follow all company policies including safety guidelines.
