Job summary

Five Below is seeking an hourly store leadership role in Westerville, OH. The position focuses on guiding crew to deliver excellent customer service, training staff, and managing daily operations to ensure a smooth store flow.

You will oversee merchandising, open/close duties, loss prevention, and ongoing coaching to boost sales and guest satisfaction. This role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking and composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members wow the customer through personal contact.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience and fast checkout.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and maintains service quality.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and stocking for quick floor placement.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, handling store operations and staff issues.
• Typically opens/closes the store, securing cash and alarms.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drives sales and controls expenses through merchandising and service.
• Partners with store leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery.
• Performs store maintenance and housekeeping duties.
