Job summary

Jack in the Box in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a first-line operational supervisor responsible for training and leading team members to deliver an exceptional guest experience, ensure great tasting/quality food, and uphold all JIB procedures and standards.

You will coach staff on guest-first service, maintain cleanliness and uniform standards, assist during peak times at order-taking and cashiering, monitor food safety, and uphold the Hospitality Model while building a friendly, well-staffed

Qualifications

• Trains and coaches team members using Guest Expectations training materials.
• Coaches team for timely, friendly guest service and hospitality.
• Maintains food safety and quality standards per policy.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach team members to meet guest expectations and standards.
• Lead and coach the team to be ready and prepared to serve guests.
• Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the restaurant interior/exterior.
• Assist with order taking and cashiering during busy times.
• Model and monitor food quality, presentation, and temperature.
• Provide fast, consistent service and acknowledge guests with a smile.
• Ensure order accuracy and retrain on any errors.
• Follow food safety policies and complete the Food Safety Checklist each shift.
