Soho House in the United States seeks a friendly Host to welcome members and guests, manage the reception desk, answer calls, and take reservations for Club or F&B outlets. You will ensure guests are greeted warmly and seating is organized to deliver a smooth dining experience.

The role requires 3+ years’ experience, OpenTable and MICROS proficiency, and the ability to handle high-volume inquiries with discretion.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Must have OpenTable and MICROS experience.
• Must have experience answering high-volume phone lines and inquiries professionally.
• Problem solving skills and conflict resolution.
• Detail oriented, articulate and able to multi-task in a high-volume environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Welcome every member and guest by name (where local) and greet new guests hospitably.
• Answer high-volume phone lines and provide menu, hours, amenities information; handle reservations and inquiries.
• Create reservations for club/restaurants and support F&B managers on service standards.
• Maintain friendly, accurate and discreet communication across interactions.
• Collaborate with reception team to ensure excellent service and clear expectation management.
• Build relationships with members and guests and relay feedback to management.
• Foster a fun, professional atmosphere and handle additional duties as assigned.
