Job summary

InterContinental Indianapolis, operated by IHG Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Host for Serliana. You will greet guests, present menus, and guide them to seating, while coordinating with servers and maintaining the reservation book.

The role offers a dynamic, guest-focused environment with opportunities across full-time or part-time availability and exposure to a luxury hotel setting on Monument Circle.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and bend/kneel as needed.
• Good reading, writing and basic math skills.
• Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Excellent communication and a warm, welcoming demeanor.
• OpenTable experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, seat them, present menu, and escort to tables.
• Inform servers of new guests and maintain waitlist.
• Manage reservation book and answer host stand calls promptly.
• Maintain table numbers and area lighting/background music.
• Assist team with side work and clearing tables as needed.
