Job summary

Cunningham Restaurant Group is seeking a Front of House Host for Commission Row in Indianapolis. You are the first point of contact, delivering a warm, inviting welcome and guiding guests to their tables while supporting smooth seating operations.

Responsibilities include managing the waitlist and reservations, conveying guest preferences to servers, and maintaining a clean, organized host stand. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly and outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Familiarity with reservation systems or software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat them as they arrive, manage the waitlist and reservations, and escort guests to tables.
• Maintain an up-to-date reservation book and communicate special requests to servers and staff.
• Provide guests with information on the menu, specials, and promotions; assist with coat check when needed.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth seating and guest flow, and relay important guest information.
• Keep the host area clean and organized; ensure menus and materials are stocked and presentable.
• Respond professionally to guest inquiries and needs, supporting a high-quality dining experience.
