Job summary

Cunningham Restaurant Group is seeking a Host for BRU Brownsburg in Brownsburg, IN. You are the first point of contact, greeting guests warmly, managing the waitlist and reservations, and guiding guests to tables to deliver a welcoming dining experience.

Responsibilities include taking reservations, answering questions about the menu and daily specials, coordinating with servers and kitchen staff, and keeping the host stand clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with reservation systems or software is a plus.
• Previous host/hostess experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Guest Greeting and Seating: Welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude; manage waitlist and reservations; escort guests to tables and present menus.
• Reservation Management: Take and confirm reservations; maintain an up-to-date reservation book; communicate special requests to staff.
• Guest Assistance: Inform guests about menu items, daily specials, and promotions; assist with coat check; handle inquiries professionally.
• Communication and Coordination: Maintain effective communication with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff; relay important guest information; coordinate with servers to manage guest flow.
• Waitlist & Seating: Keep track of waiting guests and notify them when tables are ready; communicate wait times to guests.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Keep host stand and waiting area clean and stocked; ensure menus and promos are readily available.
