Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation invites suitable candidates to join the Hotel Host team at Hyatt Place properties. The role centers on delivering welcoming, high-standard service, assisting guests at the Host Stand, Bakery Café, and related areas, and contributing to a clean, inviting environment.

Candidates should have prior guest service experience, be able to communicate well in English, and handle multitasking in a fast-paced setting, including check-in/out and meeting-room support.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required, preferably in a hotel or related field
• Must have schedule flexibility for both AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays
• Requires strong command of the English language to include speaking, reading and writing
• Ability to learn quickly and work in fast paced position with guest interaction
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must be 18 years or older
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (minimum of 20 lbs)
• Must possess basic computer skills, i.e. Word, Excel, etc.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming guest experience at the Hotel Host Stand and related areas
• Assist with check-in and check-out and servicing of meeting rooms
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment for guests
• Provide exceptional guest service and support across the Bakery Café and e-room
