Job summary

Carter Creek Winery Resort & Spa in Johnson City, Texas invites a friendly Host/Hostess to join our dining team. You will coordinate reservations, seat guests, answer phones and greet guests to ensure a seamless experience.

The ideal candidate has restaurant experience, speaks and writes in the work language, and can handle busy shifts. TABC and Food Handler certifications are required; part-time schedule includes weekends. Compensation ranges from $10.00 to $15.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• One year restaurant experience preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read, understand and write the primary language of the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates seating and reservations of the dining room, monitoring workflow under supervision.
• Answers phones promptly and courteously.
• Greets guests and escorts to tables with menus and wine lists.
• Maintains knowledge of Dining Room menu and stock of menus/wine lists.
• Handles guest questions and directs them to appropriate areas.
