Job summary

Carter Creek Winery Resort & Spa in Johnson City, TX is hiring a Line Cook to join our Brewery & Restaurant team. The ideal candidate will prepare food for guest consumption to the high standards set by the Executive Chef, with duties including prep, cooking, and coordination with kitchen staff.

Must have at least 1 year of cooking experience; banquet or resort work is preferred. Full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of cooking experience in a restaurant, resort, or related setting.
• Experience with banquet, catering, or resort environments preferred.
• Proven cooking experience and familiarity with kitchen safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock station with all necessary supplies.
• Prepare food for service, including chopping vegetables, meat prep, and sauces.
• Cook menu items in collaboration with kitchen team.
• Follow Executive/Sous Chef instructions and maintain quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station and kitchen.
• Ensure timely, high-quality food output and compliance with safety regulations.
