Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required (or an equivalent combo of education and experience).
• Must have goof working knowledge of the English language and ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and use USD as the currency.

Responsabilités

• Follow The Hay-Adams Handbook and SOPs; adhere to policies and procedures.
• Maintain grooming and appearance standards according to hotel requirements.
• Provide information about Lafayette Restaurant and Private Dining; answer questions about hours, promotions, and events.
• Learn VIP reports and hotel environment; respond to guest questions.
• Answer phones per hotel standards; take reservations for Lafayette Restaurant and Private Dining Room with guest details and credit card number.
• Prepare seating assignments considering guest requests.
• Welcome guests at the front door and escort to tables; present menus and assist guests.
• Monitor dining room to ensure guest satisfaction and coordinate with servers as needed.
• Handle guest requests or complaints within reason; escalate to the manager when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, professional work area and keep noise to a minimum; perform other duties as required.
