Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains a seating chart for each shift and is familiar with the rotation order.
• Greets and seats customers in a courteous and timely manner and communicates delays on seating.
• Checks books for reservations and accommodates special needs.
• Answers telephone, takes reservations and inquiries, and prints receipts as needed.
• Keeps the front area clean and ready for guests; assists during rush periods by clearing tables.
• Communicates health and safety concerns to management.
