Job summary

CBRE seeks a Workplace Experience Associate in Menlo Park, CA to deliver world-class service to employees and guests in a designated building. You will greet visitors, issue passes, coordinate events, and support daily operations while upholding brand standards and security protocols.

Applicants should have at least a HS diploma or GED plus 2 years in front desk or hospitality roles, strong communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or 5+ years equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years front desk, concierge, customer service, or other hospitality experience.
• Open and flexible work schedules.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to walk, stand, lift up to 40 lbs, and move about the building.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for entrants; greet, issue passes, and escort visitors.
• Answer phones professionally and create/assist presentations.
• Coordinate recreational, dining, and business activities for requests.
• Approve maintenance work orders and liaise with vendors.
• Resolve inquiries and provide solutions with a customer-service approach.
• Support the team with office supplies, meeting coordination, and equipment care.
• Review materials to ensure brand guideline compliance.
• Follow security and emergency procedures; notify management as needed.
• Deliver new hire orientation, training, and coaching; present to groups.
• Gather data to identify problems and suggest improvements.
• Impact related teams and communicate complex content clearly.
