Job summary

Iron Cactus is seeking an enthusiastic Host to warmly greet guests and manage seating with precision. You will help create a vibrant but unobtrusive dining atmosphere by adjusting pace to guests’ needs, maintain a polished appearance, and communicate clearly with team members and management.

Responsibilities include rotating seating, assisting with open and closing duties, restocking supplies, and ensuring guests leave satisfied.

Qualifications

• 16 years of age or older
• Courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor
• Able to pass all quizzes and tests, and complete all workbook assignments
• Neatly dressed, well-groomed in company approved attire
• Stands and walks during 6-8 hour shift
• Clearly greet and bid guests, and understand requests for assistance
• Communicate guests’ needs to team members and managers
• Able to hear well in loud environments to respond to guest requests

• Greets Guests with unique and tasteful greetings
• Creates a fast-paced, yet unobtrusive atmosphere by adjusting pace
• Maintains friendly, professional temperament and neat image
• Maintains eye contact and anticipates Guests’ needs

• Performs open, shift change and closing duties
• Restocks supplies and informs manager of problems
