Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid TABC Certification required.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
• Must be courteous, friendly and professional.
• Must be able to pass quizzes, tests and workbook assignments.
• Must be neatly dressed and well groomed in clean attire.
• Must be able to read menus.
• Stands and walks during 6-8 hour shift; physical tasks.
• Clear greetings and farewells to guests; understand requests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain friendly, courteous temperament and professional image.
• Maintain eye contact with guests.
• Have complete menu and bar knowledge; know procedures for food, beverage presentation, plating and delivery.
• Anticipate guests’ needs; inquire as needed.
• Handle cash quickly, accurately and carefully.
• Request ID from guests who look 40 or younger.
• Keep areas clean and organized; restock supplies.
• Open, shift change and closing duties; communicate issues to manager.
• Ensure guests are not served alcohol if underage or intoxicated.
• Notify supervisor of any guest unhappy and take corrective action.
