As a key first and last point of contact, you will support servers and management, maintain host stand cleanliness, and ensure a seamless guest flow while upholding the group's service standards and culture.

Qualifications

• Previous host/hostess or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Professional appearance and friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of reservation platforms such as Resy or OpenTable is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments.
• Escort guests to tables and provide menus, handing off to service staff.
• Avoid rushing; engage guests while guiding to their table.
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns promptly.
• Coordinate with servers and managers to ensure smooth table flow.
• Note guest preferences and allergies with the team.
• Maintain cleanliness of host stand and entry area.
• Answer phone inquiries about reservations and hours.
• Assist with take-out orders or other guest services when needed.
