Job summary

The Knoll Hotel Napa Valley in Napa, CA is seeking a friendly front desk professional to greet guests, process registrations, handle checkouts, and manage guest accounts with accuracy and courtesy.

Responsibilities include cash handling, upselling opportunities, replying to guest inquiries, and coordinating with other hotel departments to ensure a smooth stay. Prior hospitality/front desk experience is preferred; high school education required.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education required.
• Experience in the hospitality industry preferred.
• Experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival.
• Execute the registration and checkout process at the front desk.
• Accept payment for guests accounts at registration and checkout; maintain a house bank and daily reports.
• Accurately handle cash transactions and balance the cash drawer.
• Acknowledge rewards members and returning guests.
• Take and manage guest bookings and upsell opportunities.
• Review arrival reports and VIP statuses; ensure deposits and room assignments are correct.
• Attend scheduled training and hotel meetings.
• Inform guests about promotions, activities, VIPs, and shuttle schedules.
• Follow safety, privacy, and security procedures; coordinate with other departments.
