Job summary

The Knoll Hotel Napa Valley is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping team, plan daily cleaning of guest rooms and public areas, and uphold high cleanliness standards.

You will conduct inspections, manage payroll and budgets, schedule staff according to forecasted business, and collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction. Minimum two years as supervisor/manager in hospitality; high school or equivalent; strong leadership and communication.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education required.
• Minimum of two years experience as a supervisor or manager within the hospitality industry.
• Knowledgeable of loyalty programs, brand standards and hospitality industry systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize the cleaning of all guests' rooms and public areas.
• Provide daily cleaning assignments to the housekeeping staff.
• Ensure that all housekeeping associates are trained and follow service standards.
• Conduct inspections of guest rooms and public areas for quality control.
• Manage department payroll and expenses within approved budgets.
• Schedule staff according to forecasted business and determine staffing levels.
• Monitor inventories of supplies and equipment; participate in safety procedures.
• Participate in MOD shifts and respond to guest or safety issues.
• Train, coach, and motivate staff, and provide performance feedback.
