ADP Middleware Test Company is seeking a Front Desk Clerk in Hollister, MO to greet guests, register rooms, and manage guest folios. The role includes handling payments, answering phones, and providing information on local amenities.

You will be responsible for room charge explanations, occupancy knowledge, and assisting guests with directions and services, including occasional bell-person duties during check-in. A customer-focused approach is essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register guests and assign rooms.
• Explain room charges to guest and accept payment by cash, check or credit cards.
• Answer all phone calls to the Front Desk and operator; transfer calls as needed.
• Turn on or restrict guest phones as needed.
• Be knowledgeable of room occupancy, availability, and room rates.
• Handle, count, and deposit cash and process credit card payments and credits.
• Post charges including rent, phone, and miscellaneous fees to guest folios.
• Balance all cash, credit card and other postings to the daily report at end of shift; understand the audit process.
• Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, property amenities, surrounding shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
• Listen to guest issues/concerns and take ownership of seeking resolutions.
• Act as Bell Person when needed, including storing/retrieving guest items, accompanying guests to villas, and conducting orientations during check-in.
