Job summary

Springhill Suites at Carowinds is seeking a Front Desk Agent to create a warm and welcoming guest experience. You will handle guest services, registrations, and ticket sales, ensuring secure handling of sensitive information.

Join a diverse team and represent Marriott standards, with opportunities to help guests and contribute to memorable stays while visiting the Carolinas. Availability includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Charismatic attitude and spirit to serve.
• Ability to operate a computer and learn the property management system (PMS).
• Previous hotel front desk experience required.
• Previous Marriott experience is a plus.
• Strong problem solving skills and sense of urgency.
• Team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to remain calm during emotionally charged situations.
• Good judgement and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming guest experience at the front desk.
• Handle guest registration and property management securely.
• Sell amusement park tickets and assist guests with inquiries.
• Respond to guest concerns following Marriott’s guest recovery process.
• Maintain lobby, stock the Market, and ensure key control.
• Support safety and follow hotel protocols in emergencies.
