Job summary

Residence Inn Seattle Downtown Lake Union is seeking a Front Desk Agent to be the first impression for guests, delivering friendly, efficient service from check-in to check-out. You will handle guest questions, requests, and complaints with courtesy while coordinating with hotel departments to meet needs.

The role requires previous customer service experience, strong communication, the ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 25 pounds, and availability evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, type and use basic technology.
• Must be able to stand for an entire shift and lift at least 25 pounds.
• Applicants must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure friendly, efficient and error-free check-in/check-out experience.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet guest requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Answer questions regarding local area and facilities and provide directions/resources.
• Demonstrate professional phone etiquette including transferring calls, taking messages, and making reservations.
• Follow cash handling procedures and post/reconcile charges on guest receipts.
• Support hotel goals through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
