Residence Inn by Marriott Seattle/University District is seeking a Guest Service Representative to join our 24/7 front desk team in Seattle, WA. Responsibilities include check-ins/outs, payments, guest inquiries, and coordination with housekeeping to ensure room readiness.

Qualifications

• Follow safety and security policies and procedures.
• Report accidents and unsafe work conditions to a supervisor.
• Maintain uniform and professional appearance.

• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to standards.
• Anticipate and address guests’ service needs.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues.
• Adhere to E-Verify requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Process all guest check-ins and check-outs.
• Process all payments.
• Answer telephones promptly with proper greeting and direct calls accordingly.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room readiness for check-in.
• Inform guests about property, local area, and directions as needed.
• Run daily reports and pass on special requests to relevant departments.
• Complete cashiering and closing reports in the computer system.
• Count bank at start and end of each shift and follow procedures.
• Resolve guest problems promptly to their satisfaction.
• Follow up on issues with appropriate departments.
