Job summary

Residence Inn Spokane Valley is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to greet guests, answer questions, and handle requests with courtesy and efficiency. You will check guests in and out, coordinate with other departments, and provide local area information while maintaining great service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in a guest-facing role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, type and use basic technology.
• Able to stand for an entire shift and lift at least 25 pounds.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive a friendly, efficient check-in and check-out experience.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Answer questions about the local area and facilities and provide directions/resources.
• Demonstrate proper phone etiquette and handle transfers and reservations.
• Follow cash handling procedures and post/reconcile guest charges.
• Support hotel goals through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
