Job summary

Potbelly Sandwich Works is seeking an Associate to deliver fast, friendly and accurate service while preparing high-quality sandwiches and items in a clean, inviting shop.

Responsibilities include operating the cash register, restocking stations, maintaining hygiene standards, and engaging with customers with a sense of urgency. Must be at least 16, complete a Food Handler course, and work well in a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Complete a Food Handler course and exam.
• Friendly and customer service oriented.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality finished products (sandwiches, salads, etc.) per standards.
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate service to customers.
• Maintain health, safety, and cleanliness standards in the shop.
• Restock food line, chips, and cooler as needed.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions.
• Engage with customers and manage catering/pickup orders as required.
