Job summary

Potbelly Sandwich Works is seeking a friendly Associate to join our Operations team. You will be the primary customer contact, preparing quality items in a fast-paced shop and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include taking orders, handling the cash register, restocking, and assisting on multiple stations as needed. A positive attitude, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced customer service environments preferred.
• Strong communication with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to follow recipe and food safety standards.
• Comfort with standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with orders and inquiries.
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, and other items per recipe standards.
• Restock stations and keep the shop clean and organized.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Deliver catering orders as needed.
• Support multiple stations (load, dress, shakes, prep, front) as directed by management.
