Job summary

Invited is seeking an Expeditor to ensure efficient flow of food from kitchen to dining area, coordinating timing, presentation, and quality to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

You will work under the Kitchen Manager or Chef, supervise expediting during peak service, communicate with front-of-house, uphold standards, and train new staff while supporting a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an expeditor or in a similar role.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality and presentation standards.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee expediting process during meal periods and ensure timely delivery of dishes.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to manage timing and presentation of dishes.
• Check each dish for quality, portioning, and presentation before leaving the kitchen.
• Communicate effectively with the front-of-house team to coordinate between kitchen and dining areas.
• Monitor the quality of food to meet club standards for taste, appearance, temperature and portion size.
• Address and resolve any quality issues with the kitchen and make adjustments as needed.
• Ensure dishes comply with member dietary restrictions and special requests.
• Keep expediting area organized and tools readily available.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas.
• Train new kitchen and service staff on expediting procedures and quality standards.
• Collaborate to fulfill orders accurately and on time.
• Interact professionally with members and guests, handling last-minute requests.
• Support team and practice service recovery.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by management.
