Job summary

Invited is seeking an Expeditor to ensure the smooth flow of food from kitchen to dining area. You will coordinate preparation, ensure quality, and deliver dishes promptly, playing a crucial role in a high-volume hospitality environment.

You will report to the Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef and work closely with cooks and servers to maintain 3-step service standards and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of expeditor or similar role.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high quality presentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee expediting during meal periods and ensure timely delivery of dishes.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff on timing and presentation per tickets.
• Check each dish for quality, portioning, and presentation before leaving the kitchen.
• Communicate with front-of-house for seamless kitchen-dining coordination.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in expediting area.
• Assist in training staff on expediting procedures and standards.
