Job summary

Holiday Inn Club Vacations in New Orleans is seeking a Front Desk Specialist to serve as the front-of-house liaison, handling guest check-ins/outs, folio transactions, and reports, while providing exceptional service and guiding guests to resolutions.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least one year of Customer Service experience (resort/hotel front desk preferred), and the ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays. Bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of Customer Service experience, and, or resort/hotel Front office preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the overall guest experience from check-in through check-out; handles complex technical tasks including room changes, inventory moves, and folio adjustments as necessary; creates and issues keys while ensuring the safety and security of all owners and guests.
• Ensures that each interaction exceeds the expectations of our owners and guests. Answer all guest inquiries; identify the appropriate resort personnel to assist when needed.
• Maintains a house bank, performs end-of-day reporting of receipts, and cashes owner/guest checks; calculates visit costs and establishes payment method.
• Communicates with Housekeeping to expedite cleaning of units.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
