Barnsley Resort, a premier luxury destination, seeks a Front Desk Agent to welcome guests and ensure a seamless stay. You will manage check-ins/outs, offer local recommendations, and support guests with inquiries in a fast-paced resort setting.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, cash handling, and computer skills, and can work flexible hours including weekends. Experience in hospitality and guest service is preferred for this vital frontline role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior cash handling experience required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Very good computer skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hotel or resort operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude, creating a positive first impression.
• Efficiently handle check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
• Process guest payments and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
• Assist in administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls and handling reservations.
