Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Orlando seeks a Front Desk Agent to deliver friendly, efficient service and create memorable guest experiences. You will greet guests, handle check-ins/outs, process payments, recommend local attractions, and respond promptly to requests while upholding brand standards and safety procedures.

Previous front desk experience preferred; flexibility to work nights and weekends; strong communication and computer skills are required to succeed in a fast-paced hospitality

Qualifications

• Guest service experience with strong communication and problem-solving.
• Fluent in local language; additional languages a plus.
• Proficient with computers and basic math.
• Willing to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and kick off a memorable experience.
• Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests.
• Manage bookings and up-selling opportunities.
• Handle cash and credit transactions.
• Check guests in and out, issue keys, and manage safes.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests.
• Be a trusted contact for guest issues and local information.
• Follow safety procedures and report incidents.
• Maintain professional appearance and be a brand ambassador.
• Know daily events and assist with ad-hoc duties.
