Job summary

IHG seeks a Front Desk Agent in Orlando, FL to deliver memorable guest experiences from check-in to check-out. You will welcome guests warmly, manage bookings and payments, and upsell services while ensuring smooth operations and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include assisting rewards members, addressing questions, and staying informed about daily events. A friendly, professional appearance is expected along with flexibility for night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with guests and colleagues.
• Strong problem-solving to resolve issues.
• Fluent in local language; extra language a plus.
• Comfort with basic math, reading and computers.
• Minimum one year experience in front desk or guest service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) as needed.

Responsibilities

• Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience.
• Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests, in person or on the phone.
• Take and manage guest bookings, up-selling opportunities and suggesting ways to improve stays.
• Handle cash and credit transactions.
• Check guests in and out—verify IDs, issue room keys, and manage safes.
