Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• One year related customer service work experience.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Computer skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Act as the hotel ambassador and provide information to guests.
• Review reservations and pre-register groups as needed.
• Count cash drawer and prepare shift deposits.
• Maintain understanding of PMS cash register operations.
• Compare housekeepers' reports with folio logs.
• Record wakeup calls and messages; receive mail for guests.
• Record future reservations by phone or in person.
• Handle complaints promptly and escalate if needed.
• Post phone charges and other guest charges.
• File folios, Reg cards, and reservation cards; complete shift checklist.
• Maintain fresh coffee in the lobby.
• Answer phone promptly and transfer to proper extension.
• Observe safety hazards and report them.
• Perform other duties as requested.
