Job summary

The Lowline Hotel is seeking a Front Desk Agent to welcome guests and ensure a warm, seamless check-in and check-out experience. You will greet guests, manage reservations, handle phone inquiries, and perform concierge duties to enhance their stay.

Key responsibilities include registering guests, modifying reservations to maximize occupancy, settling accounts at departure, and upholding high service standards with a professional appearance. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality is a plus.
• Previous customer service or hotel experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Positive, upbeat personality with a genuine guest-service focus.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with reservation systems and basic computer use.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests efficiently and courteously upon arrival.
• Make, modify, and cancel reservations to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Serve as the hotel operator, handling phone inquiries and guest requests.
• Perform concierge duties, providing information about local attractions, dining, and services.
• Settle guest accounts accurately upon departure.
• Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service throughout the guest’s stay.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the hotel’s standards of service.
