DOUBLETREE BY HILTON ANN ARBOR NORTH is seeking a friendly, professional front desk team member to be a welcoming first contact for guests. You will handle check-ins/outs, answer inquiries, and coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.

This role requires strong communication, a service mindset, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, hospitality, or front desk experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm, courteous, and solution-focused in a busy environment.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using reservation or property management systems.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide a positive first impression.
• Check guests in and out accurately and efficiently.
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about hotel services and local area offerings.
• Handle reservations, room assignments, and schedule changes as needed.
• Process payments, maintain accurate records, and balance front desk transactions.
• Assist guests with requests, concerns, and issue resolution in a professional manner.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to support guest needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable front desk area.
• Follow hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards.
