Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; education/experience may vary.
• Prior hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read, listen and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to input information using a computer system with accuracy.
• Strong math and cash handling skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests, provide prompt, courteous service and close out guest accounts at check-out.
• Input and retrieve guest information, confirm guests and room rates, and issue keys.
• Process payments, verify credit cards, handle vouchers and cash, and balance house bank.
• Answer phones, relay messages, and assist guests with requests and inquiries.
• Resolve guest issues, research problems, and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a neat front desk area and follow safety and security procedures.
